Layout:
Please provide us with a detailed description of the layout of your design, including typefaces, typestyles (size, bold, caps, etc.), print size and print location(s). If you are using a particular font that might be considered “unusual” and you would not like us to make any substitutions, it would be best for you to give us the actual font in True Type format, either via e-mail or on disk.
Camera Ready Artwork:
We will accept one-color artwork submitted in black and white format that will scan acceptably. This artwork must be a high-quality, black and white original printed at a minimum of 600 dpi. The art must have crisp, sharp edges and must not require additional touch-up. Artwork should be at the final print size; it is unlikely that we’ll be able to use business cards or stationery.
Multicolor Imprints:
Please provide camera-ready artwork that has been color-separated (up to six colors). Please provide a composite.
Acceptable Formats for Digital Artwork Files (PC FILES ONLY!):
File storage: 3.5” disk, 100 Zip Disk or CD. When e-mailing artwork, please compress large files.
COREL DRAW (preferred): Change all fonts to curves. Any placed images must be included and created at a minimum of 600 dpi. Placed images must not be in color. Please use .cdr or .cmx as the file format.
PHOTOSHOP: Black and white raster art must be created at a minimum of 600 dpi. Multicolor raster art is not recommended but can be used if it is created at a minimum of 600 dpi and color separated. Acceptable formats are .psd, .tiff, and .eps.
ILLUSTRATOR: Create outlines on all fonts. All placed images must be included and created at a minimum of 600 dpi. Placed images must not be in color. .ai is the acceptable file format, though .Eps may also be used. Please save down to version 7.0 or lower.
***We cannot accept page layout programs such as MS Word or Pagemaker. We prefer to not use .jpg files. File formats such as .doc, .pub, .vcf, .dxf, .exe and .dat are unacceptable.
